Chinese Geophysical Society |
Art.23. Periodicals published by the Society are "Acta
Geophysics Sinica (Chinese Journal of Geophysics)," "Annals of Chinese
Geophysical Society," and "News of Chinese Geophysical Society," etc.
"Acta Geophysica Sinica" is an important academic periodical which is edited and
published by CGS. Its purpose is to introduce the research results and technological
achievements in geophysics in China, and the development in geophysics and its related
disciplines both at home and abroad, as well as the information of the interrelations in
different disciplines in order to promote the development in geophysics and to serve the
economy and reconstruction of China. "Annals of
Chinese Geophysical Society" is a non-periodic academic publication in English. Its
purpose is to introduce the history and the present state of the development in geophysics
in China to foreign countries.
"News of Chinese Geophysical Society" is a publication
about the work and information of COS. It serves as an important link between the Society
and its members. It publicizes various decisions and policies of the CAST in time, as well
as the work state and information of CGS. |

Art.24. All periodicals of CGS must uphold the policy of
"Let a hundred flowers blossom and a hundred schools of thought contend. " They
must have a practical and realistic form of work to carry on democracy in an atmosphere of
learning, and serve China and advance towards the whole world.

| Art.25. "Acta Geophysics Sinica" has an
editorial board for a term of four years, with one editor-in-chief, several associate
editors-in-chief. The editor-in-chief is appointed by the Standing Council and is
responsible to the Standing Council. The associate editors-in-chief and the editorial
members are nominated by the editor4n-chief and appointed by the Standing Council. The
editorial board directs the editorial office which is in charge of routine editorial and
publishing work. |
